Čiurlionio St. 115A, Druskininkai, Lithuania The Lithuanian Kyudo Federation warmly invites Kyudo practitioners to join us for a special weekend of practice, competition, friendship, and international exchange. This event aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Kyudo practitioners and celebrate 35 years of Japan–Lithuania Diplomatic Relations. 🎯 Sensei Feliks F. Hoff (Kyoshi, 6th Dan) Connie Brandl-Hoff (Renshi, 5th Dan) 📅 Programme 🏹 Kyudo Seminar Friday, September 18 & Saturday, September 19 🏆 15th Lithuanian Open Kyudo Championships Sunday, September 20 The competition follows the rules of the ANKF/IKYF. 🏆 Competition Categories Individual Taikai Team Taikai (teams of 3 archers) Scoring: Tekichusei (accuracy-based) Tie-breaking: 1st place – Izume (hit/miss) Other places – Enkin (closest to the centre) 🥇 Awards Individual Taikai: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places The highest-ranked Lithuanian archer will be awarded the Lithuanian Champion Title. Team Taikai: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places Style Prize: Best overall performance (TBC) 🎯 Team Taikai Preliminary Round: 36 arrows per team (3 archers × 4 arrows × 3 rounds) Final Round: Top 8 or 4 teams 12 arrows per team (3 archers × 4 arrows × 1 round) Elimination format Tie-breaking: Ippon Kyōsha (3 archers × 1 arrow × 1 round) Individual archers may be grouped into teams if necessary. 🎯 Individual Taikai The Team Taikai Preliminary Round will also serve as the Individual Taikai, with 12 arrows per archer. Individual archers without a team will shoot 4 arrows × 3 rounds during the Team Taikai Preliminary Round. Upd: Registration is closed.
