Brazillian Zouk Bootcamp with Jeferson & Kaylane

Jeferson brings experience in urban and ballroom dance, while Kaylane’s background in classical ballet and gymnastics shaped her precision, strength, and body control. You can see both influences in the way they move together. Between them, they hold three Brazilian Zouk titles, Brazilian and international Lambada titles, and the title of vice world champions at the International Zouk Congress—the biggest Zouk event in the world🏆 Their work combines strong technique with creativity, connection, and freedom of movement. For them, solid foundations are not the final goal—they are what allow both partners to move with more confidence and expression. That idea will guide the whole weekend. We’ll begin with footwork, build towards head movement, and then explore how to connect everything into a more natural and expressive dance. We’ll finish with two hours of guided practice, giving you time to try the material, ask questions, and receive feedback from the teachers. Each workshop builds on the previous one—from developing your individual movement to exploring head movement and finally connecting everything into a natural, dynamic dance. 👣 STEP INTO YOUR ZOUK Foundations in Footwork — 2h We’ll begin with footwork: how you organise your own movement, use timing and weight transfers, and connect those choices with your partner. Solid foundations will give us the stability needed for the head movement workshop that follows. 🌊 MOVE BEYOND THE BASICS Introduction to Head Movement — 2h An introduction to head movement with a focus on body awareness, clear movement pathways, and comfortable connection. We’ll explore how head movement can become a natural part of your dancing rather than something added on top. 🔥 MAKE IT ONE DANCE Connecting Movements — 2h We’ll work on transitions and explore how to connect individual movements into a more natural, dynamic, and expressive dance.
