EOC Tour 2026 - orienteering competition open to all 🏃‍♂️ Coming to Druskininkai as a spectator of the European Orienteering Championships? Try these tracks yourself! EOC Tour 2026 is a three-day orienteering competition for all orienteering fans. It will take place on 25–27th September, 2026 in the Druskininkai and Lazdijai areas alongside the European Orienteering Championships. This is your opportunity not only to watch top-level sport, but also to take part and feel the atmosphere of the championship from the inside. Three stages of the competition await you over three days: ‣ Day 1 - medium distance, ‣ Day 2 - extended medium distance, ‣ Day 3 - medium distance. The final scores will be calculated by adding up the results of all three stages. Before the competition, on Thursday, a training session near Druskininkai will be held - the best chance to get acquainted with the terrain and map style before the start. You will run in the forests of southern Lithuania - from fast-paced pine forests with sandy terrain to hilly, glacier-formed areas that will require precise navigation and quick decisions. It doesn't matter if you’re an experienced orienteer or just want to test yourself - the EOC Tour is open to all. Išbandyk šiuos miškus ir pats! EOC Tour 2026 – tai trijų dienų orientavimosi varžybos, skirtos visiems orientavimosi sporto gerbėjams. Jos vyks 2026 m. rugsėjo 25–27 d. Druskininkų ir Lazdijų apylinkėse – tuo pačiu metu, kai čia vyks Europos orientavimosi čempionatas. Tai tavo galimybė ne tik stebėti aukščiausio lygio sportą, bet ir pačiam startuoti bei pajusti čempionato atmosferą iš vidaus. Per tris dienas laukia trys varžybų etapai: ‣ 1 diena – vidutinė distancija, ‣ 2 diena – pailginta vidutinė distancija, ‣ 3 diena – vidutinė distancija. Galutinė įskaita bus skaičiuojama susumavus visų trijų etapų rezultatus. Dar prieš varžybas, ketvirtadienį, vyks modelinė treniruotė netoli Druskininkų – puiki proga susipažinti su vietovės reljefu ir žemėlapių stiliumi prieš startus. Bėgsi pietų Lietuvos miškuose – nuo greitai bėgamo pušyno su nedidelių kopų reljefu iki kalvotų, ledynų suformuotų vietovių, kurios pareikalaus tikslios navigacijos ir greitų sprendimų. Nesvarbu, ar esi patyręs orientacininkas, ar tiesiog nori išbandyti save – EOC Tour atviras visiems.
